I was planning on doing a project just like this, but before I get started, I think its wise to ask someone who's already built it. 1. I have been looking everywhere for a hand guard with that delta ring. Would you please post a link to where you got that hand guard? And would it fit with mostly all M4's? 2. And where is the position of the battery? Because I was thinking about leaving the battery in the front with a PEQ2 box. And my final question, do you think this M614 is actually good enough to be customized into a replica of the MGS4? The entire front-end is proprietary, all the way up to the upper receiver. At least this is the case on the Jing Gong S-System I was working from. The Tokyo Marui S-System may be a different story, but if you want to use a G&P D-Ring then you'll have to use an outer barrel like the ones Classic Army, Mad Bull, G&P, G&G, and King Arms make. The TM clones have two tabs on the sides of the outer barrel near the D-Ring that will not allow you to mount a G&P/CA/KA/MB/etc... style of real-steel replica D-Ring. I hope that makes sense. LOL.
