Systema finally expanded their range beyond M16/M4 with the release of the TW5-A4, really an MP5, which is now at RedWolf. The MP5 offering still come in different levels for different budgets. The challenge kit, TW5-A4 and the TW5-A4 MAX. The same fire control unit as was used in previous models has returned but has now been improved to increase reliability. The fire controller also allows for a three-round burst option along side the semi and automatic settings. It seems that the same attention to detail and realism that made a name for Systema in the airsoft community has been applied to this gun. Now you can have ultra-realism no matter what your game, indoor or out. RedWolf posted a review of it in the product information. What are you waiting for, check it out:

Not only are they really, truly, honest-to-godly bio-degradable… but they are economical too. Approximately ₤12 GBP/bag for 5000 .2g BBs. Hot damn!

I’m presently looking for a local (Canadain) retailer that stocks these, when I find one - I’ll update this post.
Oh, that’s right. We’re talking Airsoft.
As it would turn out, tighter is better in Airsoft too. RedWolf Airsoft did a comparative review on different inner-diameter inner-barrels. It’s actually quite a cool read.

So, I checked my email this morning and I was surprised to see a huge amount of emails asking if it’s true that Hong Kong-based retailer EBayBanned now sells AEGs.
Yes, they sell AEGs. Although there are none presently listed. We’ve been assured this is the case.
Which is great news. Really, it is. That is, if you live outside Canada. Thanks to our ancient laws and policies that define what a “replica firearm” is, and how like/unlike an airsoft gun can be to that definition, you will never get one past the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
Maybe one day news like this will be really really really good news to Canadians, but until then - this note is for the rest of the world.
*sigh*
In some rather interesting news, Airsoft Xtreme magazine has reportedly been shut down by the UAA.
In short:
AX digitally altered posters to indicate they were a sponsor of the AFAD Defense and Gun Show. In fact, they are not - and organizers of the event, the UAA, did not appreciate it. Rightly so.
In long:
